What beautiful pictures. Nigerian culture celebrates different colors in their clothing and hair wraps. I have a friend who visited Lagos Nigeria and when she returned to the states she surprised me with an outfit she purchased for me while there. Whenever I wear it I get lots of compliments. It's so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors! The people are so made up they do look like they are on stage. I imagine they, like many people, are paying a small fortune for such a celebration.
ReplyDeleteThese are very beautiful garments, I wouldn't mind owning a few of them myself. My little cousins visited Kenya with their mom, which is where she was born, over the summer and they wore some very nice garments from head to toe, they really seemed to enjoy themselves and it was their first time meeting their grandparents and other family members on their mom's side of the family.
